Last Chance for Animals - Phoenix
The Phoenix chapter of Last Chance for Animals. LCA-Phoenix helps animals through public awareness campaigns, animal rescue, and lobbying for stricter laws for protection of animals. Our main goal is to end the cruel and outdated dog labs at the University of Arizona. To reach this goal, we need all the support we can get, through letter writing, signing our petition, and putting pressure on the University to adopt new teaching methods such as Harvard and Stanford have done.

It is to make new friends, for people who are like-minded. We talk about things like health, animal welfare and protection, etc. Everyone is at a different level in their vegetarian diets. Also, some members are at different hiking level skills. Some members have been vegetarian for many years, yet others are just starting out. Some members have a vegan diet (strict vegetarian and don't eat any animal products like: dairy, meat, fowl, fish, seafood, honey, etc.).
