CDT believes that the Internet is an ideal medium for gaining greater public access to government information.

Humane Scorecard - A Project of The Humane Society of the United States and The Fund for Animals.  Please study this scorecard and use it as a tool to ensure that your legislators represent your interests in Washington. Let them know you are watching and you appreciate their support for pro-animal legislation; or, if they haven't done enough, let them know you'd like to see them do more.

HSUS - Government Affairs - The Government Affairs section is active in the U.S. Congress, in state legislatures, in ballot-initiative activity, and in the coordination of the Humane Activist Network. We work to promote animal protective legislation, to defeat bills that would harm animals, and to secure funding and enforcement of animal-protection laws already on the books.

Legislative Info - Congress - Includes Bill Text, Congressional Record Text, Bill Summary & Status,  the Congressional Record Index, and the Constitution (now found, along with other historical Congressional documents, under the "Historical Documents" category on the THOMAS home page).
