"Heard good things about this place, so I had to try it myself. Indeed they do have several tofu dishes, including spicy tofu, orange tofu, braised tofu, and honey tofu (which I'm told is quite popular because its made with mock honey derived from sugar). The egg rolls are said to be vegan. I trust what I heard from the counterperson because when I said I was vegan, she offered to substitute an egg roll for the crab puff and steamed rice for fried (egg) rice."

Like several Asian restaurants, the vegetarian options were said to be vegan. I had the vegetarian curry (spiced tofu in coconut milk with mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, and corn). They feature many different boba drinks (made with tapioca pearls, which are little black balls at the bottom) that can be made with soymilk. Very affordable and cute cafe open till Midnight on weekends!

Warning: I have been alerted that none of the bread products at Four Peaks are vegan. Also, an AZVegan.com visitor found the wait staff to be less than helpful in finding vegan options.

"They now offer the same great Chinese food, but have added vegan pizzas, po boys, samosas, salads, burgers, fries, vegan chili fries, hummus, spicy buffalo 'wings', and lots of other items. All the dishes come with mock meats, vegan mayos, vegan cheeses, and vegan ranch dips. The place is awesome, and it's all vegan. Everything I have tried is wonderful and tastes just like the meats I used to eat. They have vegan soy ice cream and make tsoynamis, where they blend up the ice cream with fruits or vegan cookies, etc. You could eat there ten times and have something different each time."

She said her friend is vegan and loves the Panang Curry. I tried it with tofu and was a big fan! Very affordable entrees and lunch specials. They have a variety of Asian veggies and mushrooms. This is a nice sit-down restaurant that also does take out. Prices are comparable with other Indian restaurants in the Valley. The menu is extensive and all vegetarian - vegan items are clearly marked. The great news is is that 90% of items are vegan! And they have a wonderful buffet every lunch time. Sat/Sun the buffet is bountiful and costs $11. Lunch time they told me the buffet is smaller and $8. There were 2 vegan soups, a wonderful rice and cashew rice that was creamy without cream! Everything on Sunday's buffet was vegan (including a wonderful crepe filled with potatoes) except the 2 desserts. Items on the buffet are marked. If they are not, please ask them to mark them - staff is very accommodating. You MUST like spicy foods as everything on the buffet was spicy. A must-try!

"The Indian School Wildflower Bread Company location has a printed handout that lists the ingredients for ALL of their bread products. Their breads are almost all vegan (except, of course, for an Egg bread or any specialty bread with Honey). They sell a Portobello Picnic sandwich which can be ordered vegan. Also, their menu usually doesn't list it but I've ordered a Garden Vegetable sandwich (which is not grilled) twice now and it is delicious. I ordered mine with deli mustard and avocado on Rye bread (to make it vegan) and it was delicious.

Also, their soups vary from day to day and they make many vegetarian and vegan soups. The vegetarian Black Bean is vegan for example. There's a full list of their soup selection on their website." Thanks, Jonathan
